Eternal Armor
So I got to thinking, how awesome is the eternal armor balthazar's army gets to wear? Why not make it buy-able. Just a variant of Obby armor, maybe slightly dif crafting mats, but about the same money-wise if not more. Make it dye-able, it'd be like a chaos axe. The quests, ect would still have to be finished. Just add this to maybe give more content to the game, bring a few players back, and a little bit more than the same-old-same-old.
Imagine a black dye to it....
lol
Just some of the armors.

I was going to mention the same thing! :P
/signed. I like this idea. While it would be too expensive for me to probably ever get, it would be fun to work towards.

personally i think this should of been out a while ago. and THIS armor should require ectos not obsidian amor. instead, obby armor should require like 250-300 shards, and this should require around 150 ectos. idk. but in hellboy, the dude is like a ghost and hes made of ectoplasm and also, in oblivion, when you kill ghosts they drop ectoplasm, because they are ghostly and so is this armor

A well-made eternal armor could be a great idea.

So, are you asking just for the skin or the glowy eternal effect aswell? I personally won't look forward to a district full of glowy eternal people, so /notsigned to the second part.

Eh, I think it would look kind of weird if everyone was walking around like neon radiation emitting giants. Wouldn't it be see-through too :P ?

It's cool but lmao, go create and think of NEW armors. It's pretty tough to think of the designs, you know. And the warrior one would be just as Platemail. Don't think so. Also it's probably not gonna happen ever but...

1. Because I'm tired to see the same threads open again and again.
2. It's ugly.
3. Another E-Peen armor? Really?
4. It's ugly.
5. The non-core professions need more armors, not the core ones.
6. I bet there're more reasons. If you refer to my post I may have to think about them or explain more. So please don't.
Edit: For the people who are weird and thought about seeing the naked character's body under the armor; It's impossible. The armor doesn't cover the current character's model, it replaces it.

i was just thinking how cool a few new sets of elite armor would be like a tourmented armor or like u said eternal. off subject the other day my pet glitched for like two secs and his whole body was the color of destroyer gauntlets.. i said that to say that if they do ever have like a big update with armors they should also implement in some way pet armors just to make ur pet a bit more personal just my opinion tho

lol is right. Black is not cool, it is expensive. Most armors look horrible in black but people dye them black because that's the thing to do .
I don't think this would be a very good idea. I always thought balthazar's army were ghosts and that was why they looked the way they did. Not because of the armor they were wearing.

That would be cool, and maybe they can make it available in the Underworld instead of FoW.

not REALLY glowy, but the chaos-glove-like look.
Towns are already full of those lol.
Chaos and eternal look prettymuch the same if you ask me.
and the platemail idea wouldnt HAVE to be platemail, it could be an entire new skin, but with a new texture. And btw Ratson Itamar, the non-core profs have FoW armor too, so it wouldn't be different.
Boxterduke, it would be ok, but with the current solo-uw, ect. it wouldnt be a great idea, because FoW is less-runable.

I beg to differ. Besides, eternal with a glow wouldn't be eternal... :-)

Chaos and eternal are not the same looks, but they are both VERY related.
Many ghosts bring chaos axes.
You could pretty much say that Ghostly/Eternal/Chaos is one set.
Just a bit heterogeneous.
But for armor, Linsey has already stated that the Banished Dream Rider was discarded as a mask because many transparent textures in a tow would be something VERY bad.
Imagine a full armor.

So it would be an opaque head on a translucent body? That would look weird too.

/signed for more elite armors. I've suggested margonite armors made with torment gems, that would be all purple glowy and stuff. This would be similar. Come on, it can't be too hard for them to reskin stuff for us. Obby just isn't leet enough anymore.
